The Luxury Network New Zealand joined Gaggenau for an Exclusive Evening of Celebration in the Private Dining Room at Clooney, Auckland on Thursday 10th November.

We were honoured to be part of this exclusive event to celebrate the Gaggenau journey which started 333 years ago in the Black Forest in Germany.

Gaggenau is the leading innovator of design and technology in home appliances; the epitome of “Made in Germany” quality and reliability with perfection in every detail.

An exceptional, five-course degustation menu with wine to match was prepared by chefs Des Harris and Ivan Brehm in the elegant and sophisticated Belle Epoque Private Dining Room at Clooney.

Des Harris, one of the new generation of chefs, draws upon an abundance of influences as he melds the tradition of classical cuisine with a contemporary approach to ingredients and technique. Des became an integral part of Clooney’s rise to success and his food inspiration has led to many prestigious awards.

Ivan Brehm’s dishes extend the boundaries of culinary imagination. He draws on his humble, multicultural upbringing and rich culinary experiences combining science and craft—the result: an incredible, eclectic mix of plates which are truly remarkable and utterly unique. This talent has earnt him and The Kitchen at Bacchanalia in Singapore, their first Michelin Star.

We were privileged to sample and savour their culinary expertise together with some wonderful wine at this very special 333 Gaggenau Celebration.
